Present a project on traditional African music/ artists.
Understand the role of the master drummer, griots, jali and the cultural, social and historical significance of music in traditional African life.
Explore the scales and tunings of traditional African music.
Investigate links between modern and traditional African music and the impact of colonialism and technology.
Look at links between the arts in Africa- literature, dance, art and sculpture.
